In this type of implant, cells are taken from patients and combined with an appropriate scaffold material which produces a TEBI (tissue engineered breast implant). These are beneficial because there is no risk of leakage or rupture and can also last a lifetime.
Before a surgery your doctor will give specific guidelines and checklists on what you can eat, drink, and if you are allowed to smoke. He/she will also advise you which vitamins you should take both before and after the surgery.
