It is hard to give precise advice about what can be considered a good dentist that gives high quality results. The reason for this is that each one of us is unique in the type of service we need for our care, making it hard to compare. One thing you do want to look for is a dentist who is genuinely interested in your family’s health and welfare in general. This way you know you will be receiving the best possible care available. To locate a dentist with the credentials you are looking for you can contact your local dental society by either writing or calling them for a list of dentist names in your area. Talk to your family doctor or pharmacist to see if they recommend anyone. It is always a good idea to talk to family and friends, or even people you work with to get opinions about dentist they have been to. Two other choices would be to talk to a dental school, or a local hospital that has a certified dental program.

We diabetics have to take special care of our feet, or we can find them troubled in
two ways: reduced blood circulation and nerve damage.

Here’s what to look for and some prevention ideas.

Symptom:

If your feet are constantly cold, your legs are sore when you walk, or your feet hurt
in bed at night, you may be suffering from poor blood circulation. This, in turn, can
slow down the process of healing when you have cuts or other damage to your feet.

Are you feeling tired all the time? Then you are not alone. An alarmingly increasing number of us are battling everyday life with constant fatigue or TATT (Tired All The Time) syndrome. Ask your local GP or Doctor – if you can be bothered that is – and they’ll tell you there is no fundamental explanation to the condition but it is generally seen as a life style issue.

Over stimulation, work stress, diet, alcohol, lack of sleep, allergies can all play a part. And there is no pill, no one solution that cures these hapless sufferers. So what can be done?

Are you tired of being self-conscious about your hands and nails? I know exactly what you’re going through because I’ve been there. Did you notice I said, “I’ve been there”. That’s right, I have finally quit biting my nails. I never thought it was possible, but after years of trying to figure it out, I did it.

As I mentioned, it took me years to “nail” down how to quit this habit. I had several failed attempts, too many to count. I found myself always hiding my nails and truly embarrassed about them. I was even envious of people with nice nails because I was so uncomfortable with my own.
